A family drawing on the nursery wall?

"Isn't it odd that the children's family drawings were put up on the nursery's shared noticeboard, with captions?"

This question confronted me last night on an internet forum. Scroll down and read what people answered to it!

"The nursery-school teachers wrote above the little figures, e.g. mother, father, little brother. And well, not everyone's family is complete, and thus together with the name it is a little strange for me it was to see the children’s drawings; I felt it to be indiscreet."

What do you suggest, how should we take a stance on this question? I quote literally from the answers:

You’re overreacting.

The trouble is not that he was thrown out, but that PROVIDED WITH A NAME they exhibited... What has it got to do with the other parents...?!

Then they should not display any drawing, only without a name, without a sign, because from its elaboration someone might yet draw on a scientific basis it is totally unfounded its conclusions.

Moreover, the children should not see one another’s drawings either, because it may happen that one of them has learned projective drawing interpretation at home from their mother. It is also not a good solution to put out the family drawing without a marker either, because what if you recognise Balambérka’s mother by her red hair. Let us separate everyone off individually with good thick concrete walls, lest we learn anything about each other.

in my view it is not strange... they were put up at our place too, they are so sweet. mine drew 2 children on it, even though she is an only child! :D I smiled at it nicely :)

... at our place too the best drawings or the best colouring, etc., are displayed, there is no problem with this at all, no parent draws far-reaching conclusions from such a drawing

...my son, who is an only child, drew himself two siblings, one extra in my belly, and the neighbours were in it too ... the kindergarten teacher even winked, asking whether a little sibling was coming? ?

It would not interest me. It would not interest me that they figure out from the drawing that I am raising him alone, since it is no secret anyway, I have nothing to be ashamed of on it. But I respect the one whom it bothers.

You are welcome to mark me down, but this is still a violation of privacy and an abuse of personality rights, even if it is not intentional, even if it is "only" about children. I know, I see, and I have grasped that here it is not the fashion to keep this in mind, but it is nevertheless so.

Or then let them not put any drawing on the notice board, because every drawing can be analysed and conclusions can be drawn from everything, not only concerning the child's family, but also concerning his psychic state. Indeed, let a parent never even see another's child, because from his clothing, his behaviour too conclusions can be drawn.
